Invite users & manage roles

Roles

• Admin - full access: kin, users, invites, plan, encryption approvals.
• Caretaker - only assigned kin profiles.
• Kin - linked to one kin profile for their own care.

Send an invite

1. Open People → Users (admins).
2. Tap Invite user.
3. Choose a role. For caretaker, pick assigned profiles; for kin, pick the profile they'll claim.
4. Copy the invite message / 8-character code and share it.
5. They sign in, enter the code, and wait for approval if required.

Approve join requests

Pending requests show on Today and under People → Users. Approve or reject. After approval, the new member still needs encryption access on each device (grant from Today or Settings when they request it).

Edit a member

Open the person under People → Users to change display name, role, assignments, photo, or remove them from the family (owner cannot be removed).
