Common questions
Is Carakin available on mobile and web?
Yes. The Android app includes every web feature plus reminder notifications on your phone - get it on Google Play. The web app at carakin.com/app lets you manage profiles, schedules, and documents from a computer, but it does not receive notifications. iOS is planned later.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. New families get a 14-day free Premium trial when you create a family - no credit card required. After the trial, upgrade on the web or Android (Google Play), or stay on the free plan within its limits. Compare Free and Premium.
Is Premium per person or per family?
One Family Premium subscription covers the whole Carakin family - whether you buy it on the web or on Android. You do not need a seat for each person. See pricing and limits.
Can Carakin read or sell our health data?
No. Care content is encrypted on your devices before it syncs. We store ciphertext we cannot decrypt - so we cannot read or sell medications, appointments, tasks, documents, or notes. See what we do collect and how encryption works.
What data do you collect in readable form?
Account sign-in (name, email), family setup (family name, roles, invites), device push tokens for reminders, crash diagnostics when enabled, and product usage that does not include care content. On this marketing site we use Google Analytics only if you accept cookies. Full Privacy Policy.
